THE BHL GROUP IS SET TO EXPAND ITS TRANSPORTATION OPERATIONS ACROSS SOUTHERN AFRICA AFTER ACQUIRING 200 NEW TRUCKS

BHL Group, one of Africa’s top transport companies, has recently made a significant addition to its fleet by importing 200 new truck horses to bolster its transport operations across southern Africa. This import, consisting of Sinotruk Howo tractor trucks, was facilitated through the Walvis Bay port from China and was brought in via the vessel named Tong Ji Men. These trucks are particularly renowned for their robust capabilities and adaptability in demanding sectors such as long-haul transportation, construction, and mining.

Operating in eight countries within the Southern African Development Community (SADC) region, BHL Group is known for offering a comprehensive range of transportation services. These services include bulk haulage, abnormal load transportation, project logistics, and warehousing, catering to various industry needs.

Woker Freight Services (WFS) effectively managed the customs clearance and import and transit formalities for this substantial consignment, ensuring a smooth process. Furthermore, Walvis Bay Stevedoring (WBS) expertly handled the offloading of the trucks and additional trailers from the vessel.

These newly imported trucks are set to be stationed at BHL’s office in Zambia, further amplifying its already extensive fleet and strengthening its presence across Africa.
