Promoting Corridor Development to Foster Regional Integration

Land-Linked Zambia 2026, organized by Africast, will take place from April 22 to 24, 2026, at Ciêla Resort in Lusaka, Zambia. The event will focus on the theme “Beyond Borders: Re-Imagining Africa’s Transport Corridors for Prosperity” and will feature key Southern African railway stakeholders, including major operators and suppliers.

Notable participants include the Tanzania-Zambia Railway Authority (TAZARA), Zambia Railways Limited, and several international technical partners. Discussions will center around the development of strategic rail corridors linking inland economies to major seaports, with emphasis on projects like the Mosetse–Kazungula–Livingstone Rail Project and the Lobito Atlantic Railway.
